Butter Halwa

1. In a bowl add 1 cup of Channa Dhal and add water and soak for 2–3 hours.

2. In a pan add soaked dhal and coconut milk. Boil until milk elaborates.

3. Then in a blender jar add dhal mixture and blend until smooth paste.

4. Keep a pan in medium flame, add ghee, cinnamon stick and cardamom fry for few seconds.

5. Then add blended dhal paste and mix well.

6. Use non stick heavy bottom pan it will ease your work.

(In between add some ghee and mix consistently.)

7. When the dhal mixture incorporate and turned to soft dough add sugar and mix well.

8. Now add the saffron milk and mix.

9. Finally add nuts, almonds and Pistachios and mix. (You can also use whatever nuts you want to use.)

10. Grease a plate with butter or ghee then transfer the prepared halwa from pan to plate.

11. Then cut into pieces.
